Decks and Demons is the first book by sixteen year old author Alex Thompson.

It is a fast-paced adventure story featuring James, who has to face the challenges ahead of him alone after discovering that his school friend is not quite what he first appeared.

Written when he should have been concentrating on revising for his GCSEs it followed a series of short stories and scripts written over the years.
